Welbeck, Cleverly and Giggs........no Rooney? Does he have a knock? I also worry about Rio and Vidic at Center Half...lots of experience...not much speed. Rolltide....what are your thoughts?

Unlike almost every commentator I have heard I think Nani probably deserved the Red card...not for his initial attempt on the ball, but for following through with his foot into Arbelloa's ribs once he knew the he had lost the ball....still in that circumstance it is harsh to produce the red. Welbeck was brilliant so hats off to Sir Alex for his inclusion....but Rooney should have started in Giggs spot. I know the red card was pivitol, but I felt like after the Ramos own goal United relaxed and Madrid found a new resolve and the insertion of Modric was the difference...independent of the goal he was brilliant. Glad I won my wager, but feel bad for the Red Devils.

I thought it was a yellow card, max.

Real Madrid's GK and back four played outstanding, however. It could've easily been Man. U. up 1-0 or 2-0 at halftime.
